About this course

Get Sport Walking is a course designed to guide you through the process of becoming a Sport Walker and getting established with Sport Walking, which is walking strongly with a purpose for fitness, challenge or adventure.

The course is divided into six modules, released one a month for six months, giving you time to absorb what you learn in each module, put it into practice and then embed it into your life, before you take on new information.

It is designed to be a knowledge base that grows and supports your development over the six months in a controlled way, so that you can progress at a comfortable pace and always feel in control.

Get Sport Walking is aimed at those who are already active, as opposed to those starting out with energetic physical activity. There's more guidance on this in the pre-course health advice and, also, if you're really just starting to get active in order to become fit, then our 'Get Fit Walking' resources on our website and our Youtube Channel will be more suited to you.
